The short version
- KittyFlow has no account, login, chat, cloud save or in-app purchases. Your game progress stays on your device.
- We do not run our own servers, analytics or crash reporting, and we never see your game data.
- The App is free because it shows ads through Google AdMob. When you are online, Google and its advertising partners process information such as your IP address, device identifiers and ad interactions to deliver and measure ads.
- Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), Google's consent message asks for your choice first, and you can change it at any time from Settings → Privacy.
- Rewarded videos are always optional.
- We do not sell personal information for money. You can contact us at any time about your information.
About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use KittyFlow (the “App”), package identifier com.gamelabs808.kittyflow, on Android or iOS, and how you can exercise your choices and rights. Please read it together with the KittyFlow Terms of Service.
If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the App. Where the law requires your consent for a particular use, we rely on that consent and not merely on your use of the App.
1. Who we are
KittyFlow is published by Vidit Kumar, trading as 808 GameLabs, Haryana, India (“808 GameLabs”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). For the purposes of data-protection laws, 808 GameLabs is the controller (and, under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the data fiduciary) for the limited processing we decide on. Google and its advertising partners may act as independent controllers for some advertising purposes, as described below.
Contact: [email protected].
2. Scope
This Policy covers the App and the in-app links to our support and legal pages. It does not cover app stores, advertisements, advertisers' websites or apps, or other third-party services, which have their own privacy policies. Our Website Privacy notice covers visits to 808gamelabs.com.
3. Information kept on your device
The App stores the following in its private storage on your device, so that the game works and remembers where you were:
- game progress, including your current level;
- coins, energy (lives) and the time your next energy refill is due;
- booster counts (Freeze, Star, Magnet) and hint counters, including how many free hints you have used;
- sound, music and vibration settings;
- a counter used to space out advertisements; and
- your consent choices, which Google's consent software stores on your device in a standard format.
This information is not sent to us, and we cannot see it. Deleting the App or clearing its storage normally deletes it. Your device may back up or transfer app data under your platform settings; we do not control those backups and cannot restore lost progress.
4. Information processed by service providers
The core puzzles work offline. When your device is connected, the following services may process information. Depending on your region and choices, this may include personal information.
Google AdMob (advertising)
Google AdMob and its advertising partners may automatically collect and process:
- your IP address, which may be used to estimate your general location (for example, country or city);
- device and app information, such as device model, operating system, language, app version and network type;
- advertising and app-scoped identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID or Apple's IDFA where permitted, and the app set ID;
- interactions with ads and the App, such as app launches, ad views, taps and video completion; and
- diagnostic information about the performance of the App and the advertising software.
This information is used to deliver ads, limit how often you see them, measure performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and, where you have allowed it, personalize ads. Google describes this processing in its Google Mobile Ads SDK data disclosure and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Google User Messaging Platform (consent)
Google's consent software checks whether a consent message is required in your region, shows it where required, records your choices on your device and passes them to the advertising software. It may process your IP address and device information to do this.
Game engine provider
KittyFlow is built with the Unity engine. We have switched off Unity's analytics and diagnostic services for the App. Unity Technologies may still receive limited technical information about the device and engine when the App runs, under Unity's player privacy policy.
Support and web pages
If you tap Support, Rate or a legal link, your browser or app store opens and the destination receives the information normally sent with a web request. If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and any attachments you choose to send, and we use them only to reply and resolve your request.
5. Information we do not collect
KittyFlow does not ask for or collect your name, email address (unless you email us), postal address, phone number, contacts, photos, files, camera, microphone, precise location, health information, biometric data or payment details. It has no account, chat, social features, leaderboards or user-generated content, and it does not use our own analytics or crash-reporting tools.
6. Advertising, consent and your choices
- Ad formats. KittyFlow shows interstitial (full-screen) ads at natural breaks between levels, starting after the first few levels and spaced out over time, and optional rewarded videos that you can choose to watch for an offered in-game benefit, such as an extra hint, booster, energy or coins. It does not use banner ads or app-open ads.
- Rewarded ads are optional. Declining or skipping one does not stop ordinary play. A reward is only given when the video is completed as described in the App.
- Consent where required. In the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and other regions where it is required, Google's consent message asks for your choices before personalized advertising or other consent-based processing takes place. In the EEA and UK it follows the IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework.
- Change your mind at any time. In regions where consent applies, tap Settings → Privacy in the App to reopen Google's privacy options and review or withdraw your choices. Elsewhere, the same link opens this Policy.
- Non-personalized and limited ads. If you decline personalization, you may still see ads that are not based on your past activity. Delivering any ad still requires some technical information, such as an IP address, for delivery, frequency capping, fraud prevention and aggregate reporting.
- Advertising identifier. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's privacy or Google settings. On iOS, the App only uses the IDFA if you allow tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, and you can change this in iOS Settings.
- Google's ad settings. You can also manage how Google personalizes ads at myadcenter.google.com.
- Local data. You can erase everything the App stores by clearing its storage or deleting it.
7. Device permissions
On Android, the App uses only these permissions: internet access and network state (to load ads and the consent message), the advertising ID permission (used by Google's advertising software as described above), and vibration (for optional haptic feedback, which you can switch off in Settings). The App does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files.
8. Why we process information (legal bases)
Where the law requires a legal basis (for example the EU and UK GDPR), we and our providers rely on:
- consent for personalized advertising and for storing or accessing information on your device where consent is required; you can withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier processing;
- legitimate interests in offering a free, ad-supported game, delivering and capping non-personalized ads, preventing fraud and keeping the App secure, where those interests are not overridden by your rights;
- performance of our agreement with you where processing is needed to provide a feature you ask for, such as answering a support email; and
- legal obligations, and the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we process personal data on the basis of your consent given through the consent message where it applies, or for legitimate uses permitted by that Act.
9. Sharing and disclosures
We do not sell personal information for money, and we have no access to your gameplay data to share. Information is disclosed only:
- to Google and its advertising and consent services, and through Google to advertising partners, as described in section 4;
- to our website and email providers when you visit our pages or contact us;
- when you direct it, for example by opening a link to another service;
- when required by law, court order or a valid request from a public authority; or
- to protect the rights, safety and security of our users, the public, 808 GameLabs or the App.
If the App is transferred, for example in a sale or reorganization, the information described in this Policy may be transferred subject to applicable law, and this Policy will continue to protect it.
Under some US state laws, making advertising identifiers available for personalized advertising can count as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information even when no money changes hands. You can opt out as described in sections 6 and 14.
10. Retention
- Information on your device stays until you clear the App's storage or delete the App.
- Google and its advertising partners keep advertising information under their own retention policies; see Google's retention information.
- Support emails are kept while needed to answer and resolve your request, and afterwards only as long as needed for security, legal obligations or an ongoing dispute.
11. International transfers
We are based in India, and our providers may process information in other countries, including the United States. Where the law requires it, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses used by Google. You can contact us for information about these safeguards.
12. Children
KittyFlow is intended for players aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the higher age of digital consent that applies where you live). If the law where you live requires a parent's or guardian's authorization at an older age, you may use the App only with that authorization. In India, this includes anyone under 18, for whom a parent's or guardian's consent is required.
If you believe a child has used the App in a way that led to their personal information being processed, contact [email protected]. We will work with our providers to delete what can be identified. Parents and guardians can also use their device's parental controls and reset the advertising identifier.
13. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information is processed about you and get a copy;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete your information;
- restrict or object to processing, including processing for direct marketing or based on legitimate interests;
- withdraw consent at any time;
- receive information in a portable format;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising;
- nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become incapacitated (India);
- appeal our decision on your request; and
- complain to a data-protection authority or regulator.
Because KittyFlow has no account and we hold no gameplay records on our servers, most information about you is either only on your device (which you control) or held by Google. We will help you with any request and pass on what we can to our providers.
14. Region-specific information
European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland
You have the rights listed in section 13 under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection. You can lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority, for example the authority in the country where you live or work, or the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
United States
Residents of California and of other states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and others) may have the rights in section 13. In the last 12 months, the categories of personal information processed in connection with the App were: identifiers (such as IP address and advertising ID), internet or other electronic network activity (such as ad interactions), and general geolocation derived from IP address. These were disclosed to Google and its advertising partners for advertising, measurement and security. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. To opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising, use the privacy options in the App where available, delete or reset your advertising ID, enable your device's opt-out of ad personalization, or email us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. An authorized agent may submit a request with proof of authorization.
India
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its rules, you may request a summary of the personal data processed about you, correction or erasure, withdrawal of consent, grievance redressal and nomination. Contact our grievance officer in section 20; if you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Brazil and other countries
If you live in Brazil, you have rights under the LGPD, including confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization or deletion, information about sharing, and withdrawal of consent. If you live elsewhere, you may have similar rights under local law, and we will honour them.
15. How to make a request
Email [email protected] with “Privacy request” in the subject line and tell us what you would like and where you live. Because there is no account, we may ask for your device's advertising ID or other details to help locate information held by our providers. We ask only for what we reasonably need, so please do not send identity documents unless we specifically request them.
We will respond within the time required by law, normally within one month (45 days for US state-law requests), and we will tell you if we need more time or cannot fully meet a request and why. Making a request is free unless the law allows a fee for requests that are clearly unfounded or excessive.
16. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to a small, offline-first game. Traffic between the App and Google's services is encrypted in transit, and local data is kept in the App's private storage, which other apps cannot normally read. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. If we become aware of a breach that affects you, we will notify you and the authorities where the law requires.
17. Automated decisions
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Google's systems automatically choose which ads to show, as described in Google's policies.
18. Links and third-party content
Advertisements, the app stores and other linked services are operated by third parties. When you tap an ad or a link, the destination's own terms and privacy policy apply. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or practices of advertisers.
19. Changes to this Policy
We will update this Policy when the App, our providers or the law change, and change the date at the top. If a change materially affects how your information is used, we will tell you in the App or on this page before it takes effect and, where required, ask for your consent again.
